PILLOW TALK

Camden People's Theatre
2 December 2017

based on women's stories

Pillow Talk was born from a curious desire to confront the question: we live in a world saturated with sexual imagery – but how often do we talk about sex as it’s really felt, experienced or imagined? And why is this story so rarely told on stage?

Idgie Beau and Ruby Lawrence return to Camden People's Theatre for ONE NIGHT ONLY with a more developed and even sexier Pillow Talk. Don't miss out this time!

‘My two favourite things in life are sex, and discovering a new poet. Like Paul Muldoon.’

Pillow Talk was born from a curious desire to confront the question: we live in a world saturated with sexual imagery – but how often do we talk about sex as it’s really felt, experienced or imagined? And why is this story so rarely told on stage?

Exploring what we find in those sweet nothings that pass from man to woman before, during and after sex, Pillow Talk features memories from over fifty women and a soundscape created from interviews. Comic and playful, it promises to be a theatrical striptease like no other.

Pillow Talk returns to CPT after a sold out early sharing in May 2017 as part of Hotbed: A Festival of Sex.
